it takes a community

  • flour right off the family farm

harvested with love & care, stone-milled, & brought straight to our bakery, we are honored to know our wheat farmers personally. with every handful of grain grown right here in Washington on family farms generations deep, the perfect bread starts with identity-preserved grain from this beautiful place we call home.

  • sea salt from the Pacific Ocean

the San Juan Islands aren’t just beautiful, they are home to a solar-powered salt farm harvesting sea water & turning it into raw salt so special it still blows our mind. natural, fresh from the ocean, & critical for our health, this sea salt holds the power of the ocean in every flake.

  • honey from Columbia Basin wildflowers

raw, wildflower honey is nature’s sugar - clear, golden like a sunny day, & so good you can eat it straight up. created by honeybees on Angel Brook Farm & masterfully harvested by expert beekeeper Alex Apiary, it doesn’t get better than this. you can find this sweet ingredient in our New York style bagels & as one of the main ingredients in our caramel.

from the family farm, to our bakery, to you

when we started our bakery, we knew the only way to do it right was if every ingredient possible came from this place we call home. after months of outreach to local farms, flour mills, & people in our community, we are proud to say that every ingredient is grown right in our backyard - the way it should be.

  • Becki

a good starter is key to sourdough baking & she never lets us down. she's moody, sometimes she's tired, but she rises to every challenge & delivers that perfect, mellow sourdough taste to every product. fed organic, local flour, & living her best life, Becki is our MVP

  • Andy's Market

when great people are by your side, anything is possible. a community grocery store in the Walla Walla Valley for over 50 years, locally owned markets are often the difference between a new product making it or failing. unhindered by mega-corporate rules, their passion for good food & unwavering love for this place we call home was what made this possible. to do this day, every product we make comes to life on the spare baking table they had in storage.

  • Angel Brook Farm

when someone has been doing something for decades longer than you, you shut up & listen. an incredible mentor in all things community & business, this family farm is at the heart of our work & their absolute faith in our dream helped us bring our first product to market.

  • you

every time you take something home to share with your friends, family, & community, you make this dream possible. breaking bread has been a part of human tradition for generations & the thought of you starting your day with a bagel or sharing a loaf over dinner is the vision that makes every early morning & late evening at the bakery so sweet & so worth it.

  • Charlie's Produce

distribution is king & the difference between having the supplies you need or coming up empty. without fault, Charlie’s Produce delivers local produce, flour, & products for our bakery from across Washington. it’s easy to forget that connecting the dots between family farms & family bakeries requires a driver, a team, & a company just as dedicated to local food as you & who is willing to drive every mile.

  • The Port of Columbia

Blue Mountain Station, an accesible food processing park in Columbia County at the base of the Blue Mountains, had an empty suite available that we just knew would be the perfect bakery. surrounded by wheatfields with access to a commercial kitchen & a studio for us to call home & get our start, sometimes all you need to put a dream in motion is 500 square feet.

we couldn’t do it without them

& we wouldn’t want to
